Artist Pay and Protocol
Bar and stage layout
Thank you for interest in playing at Local 46!
We suggest that you come and check out our space and vibe before submitting an inquiry. We are an upbeat, high-energy venue. Weekend gigs must be fun and get the crowds dancing!
We do not have a cabaret license outside on our biergarten so all gigs are inside.
We do not have an in-house sound person. We do provide a PA system with 2 wall-mounted speakers and 2 floor monitors as well as basic cables and mics. These include:
(2) SM57 Vocal mics and cables
(2) DR Pro mic stands
(2) 12” Peavey floor monitors
(1) 1200 watt Peavey XR series 12 channel amp/mixer
All equipment belonging to Local 46 is labeled in yellow tape. Please be considerate of our equipment and notify us immediately if something doesn’t work or is missing. Also, please make sure you take any personal equipment home after your show and leave nothing behind. We cannot guarantee the safety of your items if left.
We are a community minded establishment and care deeply about our neighbors. Our establishment is sound proofed so that we comply with the neighborhood sound ordinance.
Bands must respect the staff with any request regarding volume. If we have to ask 3 times, we have the right to stop the show and only pay for the time played ($75/hr for bands and $50/hr for DJ's). Please make sure this situation doesn't occur.
We expect all artists to self-promote and encourage you to drop off or mail 2 posters to us with date and time at least 2 weeks prior to show. Create a FB event and “tag” Local 46 Bar on all your social media posts.
Artists are paid in cash at the end of their show.
